My friend K has wanted me to do this for a long time.....can't guess why. I'm an Aussie expat who joined the US Army, did her 20 years, and retired a couple of years ago. My husband and I bought 2 acres backing onto a creek at my last posting, and it's everything I ever wanted in a property. At last I have my horses, and no neighbors looking out their windows at us. I think my journal will let you know about my battles with the official Oregon animal...the slug, so expect a lot of entries when it cools down a little and starts raining again.
